This is what the World in 2070’s will look like:
-Development of Artificial Super Intelligence and Quantum Computers
Artificial Intelligence surpasses all human intelligence as its IQ increases exponentially. Humans will have lost the ability to comprehend and understand the AI’s decision making and problem solving ability through the use of their code.
Highly advanced quantum computers will have changed the world. All of human history (40,000 years) will be made available within a couple of milliseconds at your finger-touch; speeds that are incomprehensibly faster than ever imagined.
Pharmaceutical companies will use quantum computers to find genetic code and sequence to find cures for diseases through the use of DNA. It will simulate molecular interactions to find vaccines and create medications for complex hereditary diseases.
Advanced Cryptography will be used to secure passwords inside quantum computers.
AI’s ability to predict fashion trends, inflation, stock and cryptocurrency prices with incredible accuracy due to their ability to detect patterns and algorithms with close accuracy. They could even predict who would win their next match in sports and gaming with statistics.
-Our lifespan on average will be 150 years.
Advancements in biology and medicine will revolutionize our lifespan by doubling it in about 50 years (by 2070’s)
-Downloading real virtual consciousness through metaverse and virtual reality.
It will now be a possibility for companies to create or download a virtual living being that acts like a real human experiencing memories by programming through narrative stories. The NPCs in video games will have their own stories made by developers that will interact with humans and live their life inside virtual worlds, thus believing they are living inside a real world. Rendering the user, playing a game, fully immersive through metaverse/virtual/augmented reality.
Virtual assistants now are capable of showing full emotions with a wide range of different characteristics, traits, and personalities. They have complete human-like awareness. People will become attached to them emotionally in ways never thought possible.
Personal AI assistants will be common in every household that will perform day-to-day functions such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.
-Advance developments in Neurotechnology
Neuro-tech allows us to engage in activity with the brain and nervous system. We might be able to connect the brain to the nervous system to perform certain tasks or functions in disabled/paraplegic persons. Advanced AI and natural language processing will allow us to map and interpret brain data to create new connections within the nervous systems and read/decode brainwave data. This will allow a person with limb loss to control their arms/legs with a robot.
We might be able to cure brain diseases such as PTSD, improving speech, Alzheimer etc.
There would be significant leaps in brain-interface technology in 2070.
Neuro-implants will become a necessity for people with brain injury, depression or Parkinson’s diseases for a cure.
We will have brain implants in the future that will allow us to communicate with other devices, wirelessly.
The era of neural implants will have started. Ethical and moral concerns will be a big issue among religions.
-Nanotechnology is used as a widespread in technology
Building through the use of nano tech will allow construction of buildings exponentially faster and more robust. The shape of buildings as well as the materials used will be different from those used in 2020. A significantly bigger version of 3d printer-like technology will be used to make buildings.
Nanotechnology will also be used in medicine to regulate blood temperature, controlling blood pressure, repairing injuries/blood clot through the use of cells on a molecular level.
Opening new doorways to nano-engineering career paths in college.
The size of RAM will become smaller than a meter and more powerful than ever before through nanotech as circuit and transistor technology nearing its end.
-Space Travel and Tourism
Costs for orbital and suborbital space flights would dramatically decrease which would allow for easier space travel across and above the stratosphere. Tourism for space travel will have increased commercially which would be affordable to the mass public.
Better fuel economy and engines in probes, planes, jets, and space shuttles makes the flight faster to reach to the targeted destination. A flyby to reach Jupiter would take anywhere from 3–4 months as compared to 2–3 years.
The development of an antimatter gravity propulsion system blueprint or prototype will have arrived before the end of the decade in 2070’s. This will allow the space shuttle to travel faster than ever, maybe approaching at 2–5% speed of light.
New rules and laws will be made for fly and no fly zones since space tourism will become common.
We might have established a full colony of about 50,000 people living on Mars with over 400 starships and growing.
